sound issues

The sound was out of sync. Use streaming to get proper synchronization.

It always had been in issue for a while now. Thanks for the tip.

Don't know if it's been said.

At the end the Ork Gargant has both its gun arms again. When they are all running away, after the Tau has blown one of the guns off. It reappears.

Look to it! NOw! I will slay you with my XV88 Broadside battlesuit!

I got to show this to Joel.

Brevity is the soul of wit. I think this is a great little nugget of funny.

What is up with Batman rolling off the table? it's like he turns himself inside out for a second.

It's a neat touch, but I think it happens so fast no one catches it.

Wow

Even after you fixed it... it was still awful. What was the point of this? A bad animation loop backgrounded by a bad song. Cheesy lulz all around. You put more effort into submitting it than you did in making it.

Shaggy-2-Dope responds:

funny thing, even the un-fixed version made it through... maybe it is not as bad as you think it is.

Dustined for front page.

Horrible pun I know.

You can see by my rating that I really liked it. I try to critique in a way that will help the author think bigger for next time. This was great for what it was, but if you want to improve here are some thoughts for next time.

The story did seem a little unmotivated. Which makes me wonder if you animated as you were thinking up the story. Motivational questions don't need to be answered in a movie without a literal feel. But then I would have liked a bit more in the way of a nonlinear story. I see a little motivation in the way of the 'boy' winning the 'girl' with the flowers. If you want to go more literal; what's their relationship and why didn't she just come out herself. The conflict didn't seem that dire, which made the emotions less strained. Which in turn made the tragic ending seem forced. If you want to go more non-linear. I need some more symbolic struggling. More abstract than flowers. And something strange about the mechanism of the TV prison. Which while not cliche, has been done.

The Music was great. Very Danny Elfman. Post Oingo Boingo. Maybe it's just those bell sounds he uses all the time.

just a thought

subtitles maybe.

Otherwise not bad I'm sure your teacher was impressed.

Sorry

I blammed, and it will probably be blammed. If we can't see the movie it doesn't matter how good it is. I tried reloading and it still lagged. I don't know what to tell you. There is a problem and you need to fix it before you resubmit. Maybe look to all those blur effects.

Man...

Vincent Price is slumming. Nice workish. I think it will get better if you commit to what you want it to be. Is it a surreal comedy? I recomend watching David Lynch, Matthew Barney, and David Cronenberg for a week solid, and coming back. Or go the other way and make comic fantasy. I think you will improve when you commit an idea.

Ummmm

Man.

Speech and VoiceOver come preinstalled on every mac... for free... and they're much more advanced...

VoiceOver is in the Utilities folder, and Speech is in the Prefs Pane...

Dude. You don't need a PC... you need to learn how to use the computer you have.

I'll start you out... open TextEdit (free & preinstalled) and Speech in System Prefs. Pick a voice you like in the prefs pane... then type something in Textedit.... then in the menu - Edit>Speech>Start Speaking.

Unless of coarse your still using OS9... well actually then just look at simpletext for 5 minutes... it too shall speek.

I knew that... it was a joke that my friend thought of...

Thanks for the review.

Hell Yes.

Gives me faith when I see this kind of thing in the portal. Someone putting forth the effort required to put something good up. Well done. Please continue.

Some minor things

Line weight seemed inconsistant. It seemed like sometimes you didn't want to bother. Some backgrounds, and objects appeared to be created using different tools. Consistancy here will add a lot to the over look and feel.

The light up billboard kinda lags. Which is too bad. Maybe dumping them down into a png would speed up the frame rate. I assume they were gradient circles or blurred circles?

Otherwise thanks for a judicious use of the blur tool.

All in all good work keep it up.

I've got your nose!
